About SEND Fest
SEND Fest is a fun, inclusive festival brand created exclusively for children and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), their families, siblings, carers, and supporters. We create safe, sensory-friendly festival experiences that the whole SEND family can enjoy together without fear of judgement, overwhelm, or exclusion.
SEND Fest is for anyone connected to the SEND community. This includes children and adults with SEND, their parents, carers, siblings, grandparents, and any supporters. We welcome the entire family unit and everyone who plays a role in their lives.
Absolutely. SEND Fest is for children and adults alike. We are an inclusive event for all ages, and adults with SEND are very much at the heart of what we do.
No. We appreciate the current waiting lists for a diagnosis are long — you do not need to bring any paperwork or proof of diagnosis. SEND Fest is a welcoming, non-judgemental space for all SEND families.
Tickets & Booking
Tickets are available through our Eventbrite page using the booking links on this website. Booking is simple, secure, and stress-free. You will receive confirmation and event information directly to your email.
Absolutely. Siblings are encouraged and warmly welcomed at all SEND Fest events. We have activities and entertainment suitable for all children.
No, all ticket holders, including carers, have a ticket fee. Our aim is to operate with the lowest ticket prices possible for everyone. As we continue to explore funding and sponsorship opportunities we hope to reduce the ticket prices further.
Our refund policy is managed through Eventbrite. In general, refunds are not available. Full details are provided on the Eventbrite booking page. If you have exceptional circumstances, please get in touch with us directly.
On the Day
SEND Fest takes place rain or shine. We always have covered areas available. In the unlikely event that severe weather requires a cancellation, all ticket holders will be notified as soon as possible with full details.
We hope your visit is accident free, however we are fully prepared for incidents requiring first aid. All senior and full time team members of staff have had first aid training.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink, especially if you or your family member has dietary requirements or sensory preferences. On-site catering will also be available with allergen information provided. Please refer to the event-specific FAQs for venue details.
Facilities & Access
Yes. Every SEND Fest event includes a ZEN DEN space which will be clearly signposted and available throughout the day for anyone who needs a quiet break from the main activities. The space is designed to support sensory regulation and provide a calm retreat. Inside, visitors will find blackout tents, ear defenders, calming lights, movement chairs, sensory toys, weighted items, and more.
Yes. Accessible toilets are available at all our venues. If the venue does not have adequate facilities we will bring in AccessoLoo (accessoloo.org) who have a mobile vehicle with a full ceiling track hoist system, a full size height adjustable changing bench, a peninsular toilet with grab bars, and a height adjustable wash basin. The unit also has a shower over the changing bench area.
Yes. All SEND Fest venues have FREE on-site parking available, with accessible spaces located close to the main entrance. Please refer to the event-specific FAQs for venue-specific questions.
Yes, assistance dogs are very welcome at all SEND Fest events. Please ensure your dog is wearing their identification vest. Water will be available for assistance animals throughout the day.
